Why kids keep going

Finish the programme and you present it

Most kids who give up on coding give up alone, part-way through a video course nobody was waiting on. No deadline, and nobody was going to ask.

Students who complete the Regular Program are invited to Blueinno's Annual Presentation Day. The 2025 event ran on 31 August at the Idea Lab in Hong Kong Science Park, in front of about fifty family members and two guest judges — Dr. Anika Saxena of the Education University of Hong Kong, and AI and robotics consultant Mike Tang. Three students graduated the full programme that day.

Details from Blueinno's own write-up of Annual Presentation Day 2025. PLACEHOLDER — the 2026 date, once it's set.

“We are glad to see how our son enjoyed creating his first program, addressed the human needs in related to UN sustainability goals in it, and even presented it in front of the audience. It gave a young child an important experience throughout the year.”

Questions parents ask

The practical stuff

Every answer below is Blueinno's own, taken from their published FAQ.

How big are the classes?
Class sizes are kept to 6–8 students, so every child gets attention from the instructor rather than a seat in a room.
What will my child actually learn?
Depending on age and level: Scratch, MIT App Inventor, JavaScript and Python, and for the hardware courses, Arduino in C++ and micro:bit. The nine weekly programmes run in order from beginner to advanced.
Do you teach AI?
Yes. Exploring AI with Scratch and Future Tech: AI Innovation for ages 9–11, Build Your Own AI Agents for 12–14, and an NVIDIA AI Workshop for older students and educators.
Where are the classes held?
The main centre is Room 906, Summit Insurance Building, 789 Nathan Road, Prince Edward. There are also online classes, and school ECA programmes at partner campuses across Hong Kong.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new student books a free assessment and trial class before enrolling in anything.
How do you decide which class my child joins?
The assessment looks at their preferred learning style, how comfortable they are with screen time, and whether they lean towards hardware or software.
